Today, within the framework of the press conference in the Government of Kazakhstan, Aidos Kobetov, vice president of Kazakhstan Public-Private Partnerships Center JSC, told about the launch of a unified base of PPP projects in Kazakhstan.

"The database of projects for industrial operation was launched in July this year. It was prepared on behalf of the Government. The database was created with the aim of copying the experience of the central regions of the country in other regions," A. Kobetov noted.

The database was prepared by the PPP Center in conjunction with the Ministry of National Economy. It is posted both on the MNE website and on the website of the PPP center. Today, it reflects all 547 projects. Access to them is open to all comers. In particular, the following information is reflected in the database: the name and characteristics of the projects, their cost, terms, responsible persons.

At the same time, as part of the improvement of PPP legislation, the following changes are planned: reduction of the timing of PPP project planning from 7 to 3 months, introduction of treasury registration of PPP projects, new forms of typical PPP contracts. Also, within the framework of these changes, leasing of medical equipment, trust management of the polyclinic, major repairs and maintenance of schools are provided.
