This is a mega-law which will appeal to entrepreneurs – A. Myrzahmetov

The Chairman of the Board of Atameken NCE Ablay Myrzakhmetov voiced his opinion on the presented draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improving Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activity" within the press conference following the meeting of the Government today.

In his opinion, the control and supervisory sphere from the point of view of business underwent such a total audit for the first time.

"This is a mega-law that entrepreneurs will like," Ablai Myrzakhmetov said.

He drew attention to the proposed significant reduction in control and supervision of sanitary rules and norms and fire safety.

"These two spheres are the leaders in verification, and they are constantly subjected to pressure. As it is known, small and micro business are concentrated in the sphere of services, trade, public catering. It is clear that they will feel the changes in connection with the adoption of the law," A. Myrzakhmetov noted.

According to the Chairman of the Board of the NCE, such measures as a 30% reduction of control, removal of duplicative norms, reduction of terms, will also have a positive impact on Kazakhstani business.

Regarding further steps to reduce control and supervision of the business, A. Myrzakhmetov noted that the Atameken NCE proposes to conduct such an audit annually.

In addition, digitalization is the key direction that the NCE plans to develop. A. Myrzakhmetov said that at the moment work is being done to reduce the paper sphere and switch to digital mode.

"By November 1, 2017, 30 state services on business out of 56 available will be audited and digitized. The approach, which will be used in further automation of processes, will greatly facilitate the work of the business," A. Myrzakhmetov summed up.
