A draft Agreement between the Government and the National Bank on the Coordination of Macroeconomic Policy for 2019 was approved at the Government meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Askar Mamin.

Having heard the reports of the Chairman of the National Bank Erbolat Dossaev and the Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov, Prime Minister Askar Mamin noted that for the first time the interaction between the Government and the National Bank is in the form of an agreement. This is a new collaboration format.

First, interaction for promoting economic growth will be maintained.

Second, ten specific tasks were defined.

Third, a clear signal was given to the market on the predictability of fiscal, monetary, monetary and macroeconomic policies in general.

“The implementation of this agreement will ensure a qualitative economic growth and the welfare of the population,” the Prime Minister stressed.
