The Head of State meets with President of Russia, V. Putin at the XIV Forum of Interregional Cooperation

During the meeting, the leaders discussed pressing matters of bilateral relations, as well as challenges for their further development. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

"Our transregional partnership is the framework of economic interaction, which, despite the difficulties, is gathering momentum. Over the recent nine months, the commercial exchange between our countries has increased by 31 percent. Each our meeting is a new milestone and the settlement of the major tasks. The present meeting will be a major asset to the development of cooperation in the future between our countries," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In turn, Vladimir Putin made a point of the success of the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan to undertake the interregional forum and highlighted the extra efficiency of this format of cooperation between the two countries.
