State Program for Development of AIC shows positive results for 2017 — MNE RK

At the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Minister of National Economy, Timur Suleimenov, reported on the results of monitoring the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex in 2017.

Ministry of National Economy, in accordance with the State Planning System, monitored the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex for 2017-2021. It is noted that, in general, it is planned to achieve 7 target indicators, 64 performance indicators, and the implementation of 95 measures. By the end of 2017, 6 out of 7 target indicators were achieved.

So, for example, one of the important target indicators is to ensure the growth in the volume of food exports. As noted by T. Suleimenov, with the plan of export of food products for $920 million, the actual volume amounted to more than $1 billion.

Out of the envisaged 64 indicators of results, 47 indicators or 73.4% were achieved. Of the 95 planned events, 65 (68%) were executed. The rest are under implementation.

"In general, following the first year of the State Program implementation, we note the positive results in connection with the achievement of the main macro indicators," T. Suleimenov summed up.

Akims of Zhambyl region, A. Myrzahmetov, Kyzylorda region, K. Kusherbayev, Chairman of the Board of KazAgro NMH JSC, N.Malelov, spoke in the course of the discussion.
