Readiness for heating season: Olzhas Bektenov heard progress on instructions and emphasized cities of Uralsk, Stepnogorsk, Ayagoz and Satpayev

At the Government session, special attention was paid to the issue of preparing for the heating season. First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar reported to Olzhas Bektenov on the situation over the past week.

Regional preparations for the heating season are at the final stage. Over the past week, repairs were completed on 1 boiler and 3 turbines. Additionally, 10 substations and 100 distribution points were repaired, and 13 km of heating networks were reconstructed. In total, repairs were carried out on 6 power units, 29 boilers, 16 turbines, and 293 km of heating networks out of the planned 323 km.

Roman Sklyar reported that after the previous Government session, all work on the heating networks in Stepnogorsk was completed. The city of Ayagoz is also ready for the start of the heating season. In Uralsk, 20% more work was completed over the week, bringing total progress to 85%.

At the central boiler house of Ayagoz, repairs on boiler No. 3 were completed, while the readiness of boiler No. 2 is at 70%, and boiler No. 1 – at 20%. In Satpayev, repairs on boiler No. 2 were completed. Additionally, by September 30 of this year, the readiness of boiler No. 1 will be ensured. Repairs on boilers No. 3 and No. 4 are 82% and 48% complete, respectively.

At these facilities, all work must be completed by October 1 of this year, noted Roman Sklyar.

“In a number of regions, work has not yet been completed. Since only a few days remain before the start of the heating season in some areas, I instruct akims to personally oversee the completion of repair work. Special attention should be given to launching heating in the cities of Uralsk, Stepnogorsk, Ayagoz, and Satpayev,” Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov instructed.

Oversight will be carried out by First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar.
