Within the framework of the implementation of the project of the State Program "Digital Kazakhstan", it is planned to implement a new project of identification of citizens using biometrics. This was said in an exclusive interview for PrimeMinister.kz by the chairman of the board of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens", Abylaikhan Ospanov.

As Abylaikhan Ospanov informed, within the framework of digitalization, the state corporation considers a new principle of citizens' identification, i.e. personify the citizen, his data for the better public service.

"We plan not only EDS as the identification but also the use of biometrics. For example, you take a phone, you want to order some kind of state service, if you need a consultation, then you call a video consultant, if you need confirmation and make some payments, you can immediately identify yourself by voice, photos, fingerprints and order any state service," Abylaikhan Ospanov said.
