During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev thanked George Krol for fruitful work in Kazakhstan and noted the diplomat's special contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

"During your work, fruitful contacts between our countries have intensified. In January there was  my visit to the United States, where I met with President Donald Trump. Our economic cooperation has reached a new level. All the agreements endorsed are being successfully implemented. And in this you have great merit. You promote the Kazakh language and Kazakh culture; you do a great job to strengthen our relationship. I hope you will remain a friend of Kazakhstan," the Head of State said.

In turn, George Krol thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the high appreciation of his diplomatic mission and stressed that work in Kazakhstan was a great responsibility and honour for him. The ambassador has also expressed hope that his activities will serve to further development of relations between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded George Krol on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission with Dostyk Order, Degree II, for his services in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between the United States and Kazakhstan.
