Government reviews measures to fill market for fuels and lubricants before sowing campaign

The issues of providing the domestic market of Kazakhstan with fuel and lubricants were discussed at the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

In particular, measures to fill the domestic market of petroleum products before the upcoming sowing campaign, curb the activities of unproductive intermediaries, as well as improving transparency of the trade process as a whole.

The discussion was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Energy, Samruk Kazyna JSC and the National Company KazMunayGas.

The Prime Minister drew attention to the need to ensure stable supply of fuels and lubricants from producers in the domestic market, as well as to constantly monitor stocks and sales for timely response measures.
