President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited a number of infrastructure, social and cultural facilities, as well as industrial enterprises in the course of his working trip to the West Kazakhstan region. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

As part of his working trip to the WKR, the Head of State got acquainted with the technical process for manufacturing cabinet furniture at the factory of Kvant LLP.

The President of Kazakhstan heard the information on the current financial and economic state of the enterprise, and reports on plans to expand production and a list of finished products.

Also, in the course of the visit to the factory, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the socio-economic development of the region, including the current state and prospects of the industrial sector, small and medium businesses.

In addition, on the territory of the enterprise, the Head of State was presented with projects implemented within the framework of the program of industrial and innovative development. They include the modernization of the system for processing solid domestic waste using the Finnish technology, processing of skins of cattle and small ruminants, the production of bakery and pasta, chemical production, hydrotreatment of diesel fuel components.

The Kvant company carries out the production of foam rubber, mattresses, cabinet and upholstered furniture. All materials used are environmentally friendly and comply with government standards.

The furniture is made on modern equipment of European manufacturers using advanced technologies.

Then the President of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the work of the food enterprise LLP “Zhayyk Agro LTD,” which specializes in the poultry meat production.

During the visit, the Head of State was provided with information on the production capacities of the enterprise and the sale of finished products.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev was reported on the work of local enterprises for the procurement and production of meat products, brands Myasodel and Kubley.

Zhayyk Agro LTD LLP produces 7200 tons of poultry meat per year. At the same time, 90% of the products are directed to the domestic market, 10% – to the foreign market.

After that, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited West-Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company.

During the visit, the President of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the process of production of equipment and components used in the production and transportation of hydrocarbons.

 In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev demonstrated the plant's technological capacities, as well as samples of manufactured defense products – small arms and ammunition.

Also, the Head of State visited the Agran plant for the production of wall and roofing materials, double-glazed windows and metal structures.

The President of Kazakhstan was informed about the current development and prospects of expanding the production capacity of the enterprise by participating in government investment programs.

Nursultan Nazarbayev also got acquainted with the production process and inspected the samples of the finished products.

During the working trip to the West Kazakhstan region, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the central urban area of ​​Uralsk.

Having inspected the city square, the Head of State got acquainted with the implementation of state housing programs and plans for further development of Uralsk.

The President of Kazakhstan was provided with information on the demolition of dilapidated and construction of new housing, as well as attracting investments in the construction of social facilities.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the implementation of projects within the framework of the Smart City concept.

The Head of State also held a meeting with the public in the region, during which the residents expressed gratitude to the leadership of the country for the adopted Five Social Initiatives.

The President of Kazakhstan stressed that the social programs implemented in the country are aimed at solving the most pressing problems of society, in particular, supporting young people.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the importance of preserving peace and harmony in the Kazakh society, as well as strengthening regional and international cooperation for the sake of the country's forward economic development.

At the end of the conversation, the Head of State wished successes and prosperity to the citizens of the region and called for active participation in ensuring the prosperity of Kazakhstan.

As part of the working trip to the West Kazakhstan region, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Palace of Youth and Schoolchildren, where health care and education digitalization projects were presented to him.

During the visit, the Head of State met with representatives of the active youth of the region who spoke about the progress of the state programs aimed at supporting young people and young professionals.

The President of Kazakhstan stressed the need to form competitive youth in the rapidly growing digital and information technologies.

"Schools and Universities seek to develop science. In modern realities a person should keep learning throughout his life course. In five or six years many of our current professions will disappear, new ones will replace them. We rely on our youth, our hope is that you will always think about how to keep up with the rapidly developing world,” Nursultan Nazarbayev summed up.
