President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Kazakhstani people on the Day of Gratitude. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

Today we celebrate our common holiday — the Day of Gratitude.

On this remarkable day, the memory of the triumph of morality and spirituality during the difficult years of ordeals unite the people of Kazakhstan.

Kindness, mutual aid and respect for each other made it possible to form a unique atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding on the fertile Kazakh land, which all Kazakhstanis so cherish and are proud of.

Warm feelings of gratitude to the compatriots and native land fill it with a special, profound meaning.

Therefore, the main significance of the Day of Gratitude is the preservation of historical memory, the strengthening of the connection between generations and the unity of the people on a solid base of values.
