Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a regular meeting of Economic Demonopolization Commission with the participation of the leadership of the central government agencies, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Agency for Counteraction of Corruption, the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition, the Agency for Financial Monitoring and other agencies.

The participants were provided with information on the project "Creation, operation and management of paid parking space of Astana", for the implementation of which the akimat of the capital in 2018 signed a public-private partnership agreement with the company Parking Space Astana LLP.

As a result of the discussion the authorized state bodies were instructed to analyze the contract for compliance with the legislation of the Republic, including antimonopoly regulation.  

In addition, the meeting considered the return to state ownership of certain energy industry facilities and the legality of the issuance of a number of licenses for exploration of solid minerals.
