Today, on the instructions of the Head of State, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev arrived in Kostanay region with a working trip. The main purpose is the discussion of the law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of Kazakhstan on Improving Regulation of Entrepreneurial Activities," signed by the President the day before.

Upon arrival in Kostanay, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the new sports and entertainment complex "Qostanay," built under the public-private partnership mechanism.

For reference: The complex is designed for training classes and holding republican competitions in game sports: volleyball, basketball, mini-football, handball, as well as for organizing cultural events.

In the course of the inspection, the Prime Minister was informed about the current situation of PPP projects in Kostanay region. At present, 65 PPP projects are in the region at the implementation and planning stage, contracts have already been concluded for 20 projects, 39 — at the stage of the competition and for 6 projects, the documentation is in preparation.

For reference: Altogether, 215 PPP contracts for 221 facilities were concluded in the country for a total investment amount of 782.6 billion tenge. In total, 994 projects amounting to 2.5 trillion tenge are at various stages of implementation.

Within the framework of the working visit to Kostanay region, it is also planned to visit a number of industrial and social facilities, where the Prime Minister will get acquainted with the pace of implementation in the region of the President's Addresses "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", "New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution," the Five Social Initiatives, as well as state and sectoral programs of Nurly Zher, Agro-Industrial Complex Development, Digital Kazakhstan, Serpin.

In the course of meetings with agricultural producers, students, representatives of business and working activists, topical issues of the region will be discussed.

In the regional center, it is supposed to get acquainted with investment projects planned in the new industrial zone under construction. Here, the pace of implementation of the program Digital Kazakhstan in the region will also be considered. It is planned to get acquainted with the progress of construction of a new residential complex Altyn Arman being constructed under the Nurly Zher program. A visit to the Entrepreneurs Service Center is also scheduled as part of the trip.

In Kostanay, a meeting will also be held with the region's activists and business representatives, at which issues of the Law on Improving Business Regulation and the implementation of the President's Address "New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution" will be discussed.

In the city of Rudny, B. Sagintayev will get acquainted with the pilot project "Smart Poultry Farm" in the framework of the implementation of the Road map of the Digital Kazakhstan state program. During the visit to the agro-enterprise for the production of milk and dairy products, the Prime Minister will meet with the region's agrarians and discuss the development of the agro-industrial complex with them.

As part of the visit to the Sokolov field, SSGPO JSC, Bakytzhan Sagintayev will be presented with the Smart Quarrying project, where an automated management system for the mining and transportation complex is being implemented. The Prime Minister's meeting with students of the region is planned at the training center of the enterprise. Issues of training personnel for the new economy, increasing accessibility and quality of education, improving the living conditions of students will be discussed.

It should be recalled thet Bakytzhan Sagintayev is making a series of working trips to the regions on behalf of the Head of State. Earlier, he made working trips to Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Karaganda regions.
