Government delegation headed by Yeraly Tugzhanov pays working visit to Ekibastuz

Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov arrived on a working visit to Pavlodar region. During his trip to the city of Ekibastuz, Tugzhanov held an operational meeting on support for families in difficult life situations, and also visited an interregional professional center.

The meeting discussed the existing problems and ways to solve them within the framework of the system of social protection and medical care for socially unprotected segments of the population. The participants of the meeting also considered a situation that caused a resonance in society — the story of a family with four children that had existed in isolation from society for a long time. The family that found itself in a difficult life situation was found in one of the Ekibastuz apartments. Now they are being given full support, and the competent authorities are investigating to understand why the children and their parents, who needed help, were ignored by local executive bodies.

“Social security for children, protection of their rights and interests is a priority of state policy. Today, there are 6.3 million children in the country, which is 32% of the population of Kazakhstan. And we are responsible for the life of every child,” said Yeraly Tugzhanov.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed representatives of central and local government bodies to start identifying families in need of social and medical assistance within a month. It was also instructed to introduce an electronic card for registering the movement of children with the ability to track their attachment to a polyclinic at the place of residence and approve an algorithm for interdepartmental interaction on providing support to those who find themselves in a difficult life situation.

Also, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the plans of the region to create a Center for training and retraining of personnel for the fuel and energy industry, taking into account international standards, and the implementation of the pilot project "Atlas of new professions and competencies».

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov shared new approaches to the implementation of the state youth policy by opening youth support centers on the basis of existing colleges (including rural ones), in which a set of measures for retraining, training and employment will be implemented on the principle of "one window" for youth (including NEET). At the front office, on an ongoing basis, regional representatives of NCE Atameken will conduct consultations on starting a business and implementing start-up projects for young people.

Yeraly Tugzhanov noted the particular importance of education and employment of youth and instructed state and local executive bodies to develop a similar project in all regions.

During the working trip, the government delegation visited organizations of additional education: the music school named after Yestay and educational and leisure complex "Kainar".

At a meeting with the parents of children attending various circles and sections, a significant expansion of opportunities for the development of talents and abilities of children was noted through the introduction of a state order for additional education.
