First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar held a regular meeting with representatives of German business in order to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of digitalization of the economy and industrial automation.

The meeting was attended by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of both states, as well as representatives of about 40 major German companies – the flagships of economic development: Schaeffler, Siemens, Giesecke + Devrient GmbH, Gigaset, SAP, Knauf International GmbH, Knorr-Bremse AG, Kuehne + Nagel, John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG, TROX GmbH, etc.

The current joint successful projects in the field of digitalization with the German companies – SAP, Siemens, WILO, etc., as well as training students in leading IT specialties using German and European know-how in Kazakh-German university were noted.

Reports and presentations on the prospects for joint activities were presented by the Vice Ministers of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.
