At the Government session chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov the Government approved the Social and Economic Development Forecast for 2025-2029 and draft laws "On the Republican Budget for 2025-2027", "On guaranteed transfer from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2027".

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baibazarov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov and Minister of Finance Madi Takiyev made reports on this issue.

Head of the Government Olzhas Bektenov emphasised that the priority task in determining the parameters of the republican budget is to restore the balance of public finances. In this regard, further actions of the Government will be associated with the consolidation of liabilities, assets and in general all cash flows of the state.

"The Government will continue to work on carrying out a coordinated fiscal, monetary and sectoral policy for the qualitative, dynamic development of the national economy. The presented draft republican budget is aimed at full and timely fulfilment of all social obligations of the state. We have a task to maximise the effective use of budget funds," Olzhas Bektenov noted, suggesting the participants of the meeting to approve the approaches voiced and vote. The bills were supported unanimously.

The Ministries of National Economy, Finance together with the Government Office were instructed to ensure the submission of the bills and the Forecast of Socio-Economic Development to the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
