Madiyar Kozhakhmet appointed chair of Committee on Youth and Family Affairs

By order of the Minister of Information and Social Development, Madiyar Kozhakhmet was appointed chair of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs. This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Kozhakhmet was born in 1984 in the city of Karaganda. He graduated from the Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Czech University of Social Sciences under the Bolashak Presidential Program.

From 2003 to 2008 he worked in the Republican Youth Organization “Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan.”

He worked his way from project coordinator to executive director. In 2008-2012, he served as Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Youth Policy, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Science.

From 2012 to 2014 worked as an inspector of the Department of State Control and the organizational and territorial work of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.

In 2014-2017 served as chief of staff of the akim of the North Kazakhstan region.

From October 2017 to the present, he was deputy akim of North Kazakhstan region.
