President of Kazakhstan visits Tree of Life recreation center

The Head of State got acquainted with the activities of the recreation center, including beaches, a water park with swimming pools and a hotel complex. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

During the conversation with tourists, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the advantages of recreation at the Caspian resorts. These are affordable prices, a long bathing season, the proximity of the infrastructure of Aktau city, a large hotel fund.

"Earlier I visited Alakol, Balkhash, Borovoe. This recreation area opens new prospects for the development of our domestic tourism. We have plans to develop this direction, and in the future Aktau will become Kazakhstan's Antalya," the President of Kazakhstan said.

The recreation area, which has the capacity to receive up to 140,000 people per season, occupies an area of 5.7 hectares and is located 25 km from the city of Aktau. The total amount of investments in the tourist facility amounted to 485.2 million tenge.
