Within the framework of the trip, Nursultan Nazarbayev visited a number of social facilities, as well as agriculture and production enterprises of the region. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

The Head of State became familiar with the process of housing construction in the new micro-district referred to as "Airport".

During the visit, Nursultan Nazarbayev heard the information on implementation of the Nurly Zher Program in Kostanay region.

On the territory of the micro-district there are construction works on social infrastructure facilities, including a comprehensive school for 900 places and a sports and entertainment complex within the framework of public-private partnership.

Nursultan Nazarbayev was acquainted with the work of the domestic enterprise for manufacturing cars "SaryarkaAvtoProm" LLP.

During the visit, the Head of State inspected the production workshops and talked with the plant employees.

The President of Kazakhstan has seen the line of cars manufactured in Kostanay, brands of JAC, Peugeot, Ravon, as well as a range of JAC electric vehicles and a school bus based on Iveco.

Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about developing the infrastructure for electric vehicles.

In addition, the Head of State heard the information on the investment potential of Kostanay region and the socio-economic development of the area.

Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the new shopping and entertainment centre Kostanay Plaza, which includes a gallery of boutiques, a family entertainment park, a 6-room cinema and a food court with fast food restaurants.
