"Today I, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, assign the highest military and special ranks, and hand over the highest state awards for excellence in the service. The Head of State stressed that in the context of growing instability in the world, the military-power bloc of the state acquires special significance.

"Our army and law enforcement structures are a reliable shield for the country's security and an unshakable guarantor of its sovereignty. The state highly values ​​your courage and selfless labor for the benefit of the peaceful life and tranquility of all Kazakhstanis," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

The President of Kazakhstan noted the role of every serviceman in ensuring the security of the country and educating the younger generation.

"Warriors have always considered it their duty to give their lives for their Motherland. These are not simple words. We know about their heroic accomplishments from the history of the Great Patriotic War and the legacy of our ancient ancestors. So it was and will always be. The country values, respects the army and law enforcement agencies, expects from you a loyal and reliable service," the Head of State said.

In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan congratulated everyone on the Defender of the Fatherland Day and on the Great Victory Day.
