Roman Sklyar holds Commission meeting on domestic market of fuels and lubricants

Under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar held a meeting of the Commission on ensuring the domestic market of fuels and lubricants.

The Ministries of Energy, Agriculture, Agency for Protection and Development of Competition, Akimats of regions, cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, as well as NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC reported on the current situation on the domestic market of petroleum products.

The Commission instructed NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC to take immediate measures on the priority supply of fuels and lubricants in the regions.

In addition, the Agencies for Protection and Development of Competition, and Financial Monitoring were instructed to take prompt action to prevent non-competitive actions and facts of exceeding the maximum allowable prices for fuels and lubricants.

It should be noted that the issues of preventing a shortage of petroleum products are under special control of the Government.
