Today, within the framework of the expanded meeting of the Presidium of Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, deputy chairman of the Board of the NCE, Rustam Zhursunov reported on the work of the Chamber for 2017.

 

In his speech, he noted that all the system problems are gathered and placed with an open access on the website of the National Chamber.

Thus, for the time of the NCE’s work, 571 problems have been identified, 363 or 64% of them have been solved, 59 are being resolved.

“As a result of the control of the Government, within the framework of the IV Congress of the National Chamber, we managed to solve 24 the most important problems for the business, another 101 issues were sent to the state bodies. The practice has shown the effectiveness of such cooperation, that’s why we ask for further support in this direction,” R. Zhursunov.

In addition, the speaker noted that the work conducted jointly with the Government on the development of the new Tax Code is one of the vivid examples of engagement of the business community into the process at its very beginning stage.

Within the Tax Code, such initiatives of the entrepreneurs, as the reduction of the social tax rate from 11% to 8.5%, preservation of the current VAT threshold — 30,000 MCI, introduction of principles of good faith and stability of legislation were supported.

As R. Zhursunov noted, this year the NCE also took active part in the development of national Customs Code.

“As a result of the harmonious work of the Chamber with the Government, more than 350 reference norms have been opened. The business have made over 500 amendments, 60% of which have been supported,” R. Zhursunov informed.
