IV Regional Roundtable organized by the Institute of Eurasian Integration was held of the series of expert meetings on "Modernization 3.0: Ruhani Zhangyru" today in Uralsk.
During the event, the issues of the progress of the implementation of the Tugan Zher project in the West Kazakhstan region, which is one of the six key projects of the Ruhani Zhangyru program, were discussed.
The round table was attended by more than 40 representatives of the scientific and expert community, NGOs, local executive bodies, youth.
Akim of the WKR Altai Kulginov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting concrete practical achievements in the field of implementation of the Ruhani Zhangyru program.
Director of the Institute of Eurasian Integration Gani Nygymetov in his speech announced some results of sociological surveys conducted by the Institute on the regions of Kazakhstan. In particular, the population of WKR was among the most informed Kazakhstani people about the Third Modernization of the country, only 6.6% of respondents said they did not have any information about the policy of modernization of Kazakhstan.
73% of the respondents in the region consider the Tugan Zher project to be important, thus showing great responsibility and concern for their native land. About 60% of respondents in the region consider it important to follow the folk traditions and customs accepted in the family, understanding the importance of preserving the national identity and culture.
At the same time, Gani Nygymetov noted that the traditionality and modernization agenda of the society in Kazakhstan do not contradict each other. In society there is an understanding of renewal, the reinterpretation of the traditionality of our society to make it a modernizing rather than a retarding resource of the country.
"Realization of personal goals depends on ourselves, on how much we perceive and understand the challenges ahead, how much we are motivated to achieve success and what exactly each of us has undertaken for positive changes.
It becomes obvious that modernization is not limited only to technologies and new institutions, it is not accidental that the president has designated positive changes in the minds as the main channel and resource for modernization.
Undoubtedly, this gives a powerful message to the modernization of public consciousness. The implementation of all six national projects of the President's program article, filled with new trends, meanings and symbols, should become a single clasp, the frame of national identity. In fact, the "reset" of the spiritual renewal of the Nation has been launched," said the Director of the Institute.
In conclusion, G. Nygymetov noted that innovative training projects and coaches for civil servants and civil society institutions could be mutually beneficial in the framework of the Ruhani Zhangyru project, which the Institute intends to develop with transition to the regions in 2018.
