Kazakhstan is moving in the right direction —World Bank expert

In Kazakhstan, the strategy of economic development is being implemented and there is a clear vision of the way in which the country will develop in the coming years and in the long view. This was announced today at the investment forum in Astana by the leading economist on trade and global competitiveness of the World Bank Group, Stefka Slavova.

According to the speaker, Kazakhstan is moving in the right direction: there is a vision of the development strategy and a clear vision of the ways of economic growth.

For sustainable economic growth, Kazakhstan needs to create equal conditions for all participants of the process, including foreign investors.

According to the expert, another possibility and challenge for Kazakhstan is the diversification of industry, a departure from oil dependence.
