Astana hosts an international seminar on development of experts from Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating

On March 12, 2018, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) together with the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) is holding an international seminar on the professional development of IAAR experts.

EQAR has been a key organization since 2005 that ensures the further development of the European Higher Education Area by increasing the transparency of quality assurance and providing information on agencies operating in European countries. June 20, 2017 by the decision of the Registration Committee, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating was included in the European register of quality assurance agencies. Entering the EQAR is the highest achievement and recognition for accreditation bodies. Today, the European Quality Assurance Register includes 44 agencies from 22 countries.

Kazakhstan became the 23rd country from 48 countries participating in the Bologna process. Obtaining the IAAR status of a recognized agency is a confirmation of compliance with its high international standards and evidence of trust.

The international seminar of IAAR and EQAR was organized on the basis of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The main speakers at the seminar are EQAR President, Karl Dittrich, Director of Higher Education, Dutch Inspectorate for Education, Hendrik Michael (Erik) Martijnse, IAAR Director, Alina Zhumagulova and Chairman of the Expert Council of IAAR, Marina Skiba.
