March 14, 2018, a seminar of Kazakh-Czech Production Cooperation was held in Diplomat hotel in Astana.
The organizers of this event are the Embassy of the Czech Republic together with the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry for Investments and Development of Kazakhstan.
In accordance with the first priority of the Address of the President of Kazakhstan "Industrialization should become the flagship of the introduction of new technologies," the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan is actively engaged in domestic industrialization and the attraction of foreign technologies. This seminar is designed to establish cooperative relations between domestic and foreign enterprises.
The traditional machine-building industry of the Czech Republic occupies a leading position in the whole world, in particular, machine-tool construction, automotive industry, aircraft construction, railway and agricultural machinery.
Joint cooperation with Czech companies will give an additional impetus to the development of domestic engineering.
Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Kazakhstan, Ladislav Steinhubel, noted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
At the same time, Mr. Steinhubel said that during this historical period Kazakhstan became the main economic partner of the Czech Republic in Central Asia. The next stage will be the strengthening of cooperation ties, including in the machine-building industry.
Member of the Board of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, Pavel Beklemishev, stressed the importance of attracting new technologies and creating joint ventures.
From the side of the Czech delegation, such companies as LLC DAG-TS, Ferrit LLC, G-Team JSC, GMR GAS LLC, Sigma Pumpy Hranice LLC, Zimatekhnik LLC, LDM LLC took part.
From the side of the Kazakh delegation there were the following companies: Kazakhstan Engineering National Company JSC, West Kazakhstan Engineering Company JSC, Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant JSC.
At end of the seminar, a Memorandum was signed between the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic.
