By the decree of the Government, Kabikenov Arystan Kenzhetayevich was appointed to the position of the Vice Minister for Investments and Development, Khairov Yerlan Kartayevich was appointed to the position of the Chairman of Investment Committee.

Arystan Kabikenov was born in 1980 in Zhezkazgan. In 2002-2006, he graduated from Zhezkazgan University after Baikonurov, in 2004 – KIMEP, 2012 – University of Nottingham (the United Kingdom).

He began his career in 2001. In 2001-2004, he worked as the Financial Director of TAT-2001LLP. In 2004-2006 he worked in various positions in the Ministry of Finance. In 2006-2008, he held the position of the head of the sector of the Department of Macroeconomic Analysis and Program Monitoring of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. In 2008-2011, he worked in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2011-2015 he worked in the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis of the President of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Regional Development, and also in the Ministry of National Economy. In 2015-2016 he was the Deputy Head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

From October 2016 to the present he held the post of adviser to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Japan.

Yerlan Khairov was born in 1978 in Karaganda. In 1999 he graduated from the Karaganda State University after Buketov with a degree in international relations.

He began his labor activity in 1997. In 1997-2002, he worked in various positions in state bodies. In 2002-2006, he worked as Deputy Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Office of the Prime Minister, Chief Inspector of the State Control and Organizational Department of the Presidential Administration. In 2006-2011, he worked in various positions in national companies. In 2011-2014, he held managerial positions in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. In 2014-2016, he was the chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development.

From May 2016 to the present, he held the post of Vice Minister for Investments and Development.
