Interdepartmental Commission considers issues of strengthening sanitary regime

At the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, issues of the current epidemiological state in the country, provision of personal protective equipment for the population, the phased opening of international flights, and other relevant issues were considered.

Vice Minister of Healthcare Lyudmila Byurabekova reported an increase in incidence rate of coronavirus as a result of non-compliance with sanitary standards by the country's citizens. Cases of infection among contact persons have become more frequent, especially in families, half of all infected over the past two weeks are in groups.

In this regard, the deputy prime minister instructed akimats of regions with a high increase in the disease to work out issues of strengthening quarantine measures.

Akimats of the regions need to strengthen the activities of monitoring groups to control compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, take effective measures up to a temporary suspension of activities of facilities that violate sanitary standards.

The heads of state bodies are recommended to make up to 80% of teams to work remotely.
