The main events of the week from 4 to 10 September 2017

• On Monday, September 4, a joint meeting of the Chambers of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The Head of State spoke at the opening of the third session of the Parliament of the VI convocation.

• On Tuesday the Prime Minister took part in the Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds. On the same day, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a number of meetings with Forum participants.

• Also this week the XI Kazenergy Eurasian Forum was held. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan greeted the participants.

• Within the framework of the Forum, B. Sagintayev held meetings with the director of Royal Dutch Shell on exploration and production A. Brown, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia A. Dvorkovich and the former president of Iceland O. Grimsson.

• During the regular session of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by B. Sagintayev, the issues of preparation for the heating season, energy saving and energy efficiency, as well as the construction of educational facilities in the framework of the Nurly Zhol State Program for 2015-2019 were considered.

• On the same day, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting on the introduction of the Compulsory Social Health Insurance system.

• On Thursday B. Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Coordinating Council for Cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development with the international financial organizations.

• On the same day, B. Sagintayev held a meeting with the President of ExxonMobil Production Company N. Duffin and took part in the opening of the National Day of Poland at Expo-2017.

• On Saturday, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan held a number of important negotiations. Among them, a meeting with the President of Pakistan M. Hussain, Vice President of Indonesia J. Kalla and the President of the IDB Group B. Hajjar.

• Also on Saturday Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a regular meeting to discuss the draft state program "Digital Kazakhstan".

• On Sunday, September 10, the Prime Minister took part in the closing of the International Specialized Exhibition "Expo-2017".
