The main events of the week from November 27 to December 2, 2017

— On November 28, during the regular meeting of the Government chaired by Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the draft Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Strategic Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2025" was approved. Also, during the meeting, issues of industrial safety and the activities of public councils were considered.

— On November 29, the Prime Minister took part in an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Atameken NCE. Issues and proposals on improving legislation in the sphere of PPP, measures of state financial support for business, participation in state and quasi-public purchases, development of import substitution, digitization and automation of public services, as well as training of personnel for the Third Modernization were discussed.

— Also last week, B. Sagintayev met with representatives of ArcelorMittal headed by Vice President Javier Lasso Pen.

— On November 30, the Prime Minister chaired the next full-time meeting of the Board of Directors of the Baiterek NMH took place. The plan for the development of the holding for 2017-2021, the annual budget for 2018 and adjusted maps of key performance indicators were considered.

— On the same day, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting with the acting Assistant Secretary of State Alice Wells. Issues of bilateral cooperation in various spheres of trade and economic development of the countries were discussed.

— On December 1, the Prime Minister took part in the 16th session of the Council of SCO Heads of Government in the city of Sochi. Within the framework of the session, B. Sagintayev held meetings with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, Head of the Executive Power of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah and with Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Shamshad Akhtar. Following the results of the meeting, documents were signed.
