The main events of the week from 12 to 17 February 2018.

Last week, February 13 in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister B. Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Government. The issues on execution of the instructions of the Head of State, given at the extended meeting of the Government of 9.02.2018, preliminary results of social and economic development for January and approval of the interregional scheme of territorial development of the Shymkent agglomeration were considered.

Also on February 13, Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with an international expert in the field of innovation development and author of the Blue Economy: 10 Years, 100 Innovations, 100 million Workplaces, Gunter Pauli in Ukimet Uyі.

On Thursday, February 15 in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister held a meeting on the execution of the President's instructions on the implementation of the Nation’s Plan "100 Specific Steps," given at the extended Government meeting of 09.02.2018.

On the same day in Ukimet Uyi, B. Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Invest NC.

On February 15, the Prime Minister held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Oil and Gas Industry.

On Friday, February 16, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting in Ukimet Uyi on investment attractiveness and development of the country's export potential, as part of the implementation of instructions given by the Head of State at an expanded Government meeting. According to the measures taken and plans for the current year, the information of the heads of the national companies Kazakh Invest and Kazakh Export was heard.

On the same day, the Prime Minister held a meeting on the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.

On Saturday, February 17 in Astana, Bakytzhan Sagintayev examined the new building of the Baiterek NMH and got acquainted with the progress of the reconstruction of the building of the International Technopark of IT-startups, Astana Hub, on the basis of Expo-2017.
