The main events of the week from August 27 to September 1, 2018.

• September 1 the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev opened a joint session of the chambers of the fourth session of the VI convocation of the parliament. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister B. Sagintayev, State Secretary G. Abdykalikova, Head of the Presidential Administration A. Dzhaksybekov, chairmen of the Constitutional Council K. Mami, Supreme Court Zh. Assanov, Government members, deputies of the Senate and Majilis.
• Tuesday in Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Government. The implementation of the Roadmap for Formalization and Involvement of the Informally Employed Population in the economy of the country, as well as fulfillment of the country's Strategic Development Plan until 2025 were discussed.
• August 27 Prime Minister Sagintayev held a meeting on the development of the Astana International Financial Center.
• The same day a meeting of the State Commission for Modernization of the Economy was held concerning the issues of the implementation of the privatization program for 2016-2020, as well as the development of business entities in the manufacturing industry.
• The same day Sagintayev was presented with draft laws on housing and communal services, regulation of the agro-industrial complex, and a draft law on special economic and industrial zones.
