On March 29 this year, on behalf of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited Kyzylorda region with a working trip. The purpose of the trip was to inspect the implementation of the Addresses "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", "New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution" and the President’s Five Social Initiatives.

• On arrival, Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the region's activists, akims of the districts and business representatives. The issues of implementation of the President's Addresses and the system of work of the Project Management Department of the region on achievement of the target indicators of the social and economic development of the region in 2018 were discussed.

• On the same day the Prime Minister met with workers of education, health and social sector, and discussed the implementation of the President's Five Social Initiatives with them.

• Also during the working trip, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited Karaozek compressor station, starting from July this year the construction of the Saryarka main gas trunkline on the route Kyzylorda – Zhezkazgan – Karaganda – Temirtau – Astana will begin.

• During the visit to Aral Fish Processing Plant LLP in Aralsk and the shops of Araltuz JSC, B. Sagintayev got acquainted with the pace of development of fish and food industry in the region.

• Also in the Aral Sea region, a meeting was held with the public and the Aral region's activists on the implementation of the Northern Aral Sea projects and the irrigation of lands.

• In the city of Baikonur, Bakytzhan Sagintayev got acquainted with the development of the country's space industry, the cosmodrome and the city's infrastructure.
