Continuing the working trips to the regions to explain Elbasy’s new social measures "Aleumettik Qamqorlyq," Deputy Prime Minister Gulshara Abdykalikova arrived in Mangistau region, where she held meetings with the population, inspected the work of the sewing factory in the city of Zhanaozen, and visited families in need and families with many children.

Opening the meeting with the population of Zhanaozen, Abdykalikova noted that Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev at the XVIII Congress of the Nur Otan Party had instructed to take a set of measures aimed at providing comprehensive support to socially vulnerable groups.

“The new social measures of Elbasy ‘Aleumettik Qamqorlyq’ are being implemented. They are aimed at increasing incomes and comprehensive protection of the poor, providing housing for low-income citizens, improving the quality and accessibility of education and health care, developing regions and others,” said Abdykalikova.

After meeting with the population, Abdykalikova visited a sewing factory in Zhanaozen, which employs over 340 people (95% of the workers are women from the city and the nearby villages of Rakhat, Tenge, Kyzylsai). Employees of the company produce modern, comfortable and high-quality workwear for workers in the oil industry. The average salary at the enterprise is over 136 thousand tenge.

In addition, Abdykalikova and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Berdibek Saparbayev visited large and poor families living in Zhanaozen. During the conversation, new social support measures, goals and the mechanism for their implementation were explained in detail.

As part of the working visit, the work of the Employment Center and the public service center in Zhanaozen was also inspected.

In turn, other members of the working group, Minister of Education Kulyash Shamshidinova, Minister of Healthcare Yelzhan Birtanov, Chairman of the Committee for Construction, Housing and Communal Services Markhabat Zhayymbetov, Chairman of the Committee of Forestry and Fauna Kair Ryskeldinov visited healthcare, education, construction organizations in Zhanaozen and Aktau, as well as visited villages.

Earlier, the working group visited the Aktobe region, where outreach work was also conducted. The working group includes the ministers of labor and social protection of the population Berdibek Saparbayev, education and science — Kulyash Shamshidinova, healthcare — Yelzhan Birtanov, Chairman of the Committee for Construction, Housing and Communal Services Markhabat Zhayymbetov, Chairman of the Committee for Forestry and Wildlife Kair Ryskeldinov as well as media representatives and bloggers.
