Economic Demonopolization Commission meeting held in Government

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a regular meeting of the Economic Demonopolization Commission with the participation of the leadership of the central government agencies, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Agency for Financial Monitoring of other agencies.

The participants discussed the return of important infrastructure facilities of the oil and gas industry into state ownership, measures to eliminate artificial monopolies in the railway freight market and mechanisms to increase responsibility of subjects of the grain transportation market.

The Prime Minister noted the importance of accelerating the procedures for initiated cases and the pace of demonopolization of key sectors of the economy as a whole in order to achieve concrete economic results in the foreseeable future.
