Bakytzhan Sagintayev: Astana is the basis of our independence, the brainchild of Elbasy

July 3 at the meeting of the Government, before consideration of the matters planned within the agenda, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev congratulated on the twentieth anniversary of Astana.

The Prime Minister noted that Astana's birthday is a solemnly celebrated national holiday. The emergence of Qazaq Eli as a sovereign state, which managed to confidently pass through all the trials and take the path of development, is closely connected with the fate of the capital.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev drew attention to the fact that at a crucial time Astana rallied the people to achieve a high goal and became a bright symbol of the new Kazakhstan.

"Astana is the basis of our independence, the greatness of Alash, the brainchild of Elbasy. So, thanks to the vision and will of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, a beautiful city was created in the Great Steppe in 20 years" Sagintayev emphasized.

The capital has become a reliable foundation of the state. It is a city that has absorbed all modern history, the present and the future of the country

"Astana has linked together our glorious past, which surprised the world with the achievements of the present and the aspiring goals of the World. If today you look at the horizon line, where the Great Steppe and the Sky unite, you can very clearly see the silhouettes of the new Astana. It is an eternal symbol of the happy destiny and hope of the people," Sagintayev said.
