Zhuldyz Suleimenova
She was born in 1983 in Aktobe Region.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of History, a Master’s degree, and a PhD from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
She began her career in 2000 as Chair of the Student Self-Government at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
From 2004 to 2006, she was Lecturer and Chair of the Youth Affairs Committee at Aktobe Institute of the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics.
In 2006, she was Consultant of the Aktobe Regional Branch of the NDP “Nur Otan”, Deputy Chair of the Republican Council of the Youth Wing “Zhas Otan”.
From 2007 to 2008, she was History and Law Teacher at Multidisciplinary Gymnasium No. 159 named after Y. Altynsarin, Almaty.
From 2008 to 2011, she was Deputy Vice-Rector for Educational and Upbringing Work, Chair of the Youth Administration at Kazakh National Agrarian University.
In 2011, she was Dean for Student Affairs at the International Academy of Business.
From 2011 to 2012, she was Chief Scientific Secretary of the Kazakh State Women’s Pedagogical University.
From 2012 to 2017, she was Senior Manager, Deputy Director of the Department of Educational Policy and Programs at the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”.
From 2017 to 2019, she was Director of the Department for the Development of Intellectual Schools at the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”.
From 2019 to 2021, she was Director of the Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty.
From 2021 to 2025, she was Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the National Kurultai under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Co-Chair of the Women’s Wing of the “AMANAT” Party, Member of the National Commission on Women’s Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since September 29, 2025, by Decree of the Head of State, she was appointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
