Rustem Bigari appointed vice minister of education and science of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan, Rustem Bigari was appointed to the post of vice minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Rustem Bigari was born on February 20, 1976 in Kokshetau. In 1999 he graduated from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University with a degree in Informatics and Computing Technology; in 2015 — Master's program at Boston University (the US), specializing in Information Systems with the specialization in Cybersecurity, a Bolashak scholarship holder. PhD in computer science, control and management.

He began his labor activity in 1999.

From 1999 to 2003 he worked in the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan. Since 2003, in the National Information Technologies JSC. From 2006 to 2009 he worked in the Presidential Administration in the following positions: chief expert, consultant, head of the informatization sector.

He participated in the development of programs for the formation and development of e-government, the Digital Kazakhstan State Program.

From August 2009 to the present, he has been a deputy head of the Department of Informatization and Protection of Information Resources of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was awarded the state award Yeren Enbegi Ushin, jubilee medals.
