Yerzhan Nukezhanov appointed chairman of Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications

By the order of the Minister of Information and Communications, Yerzhan Nukezhanov was appointed Chairman of the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yerzhan Nukezhanov was born in 1981 in Almaty. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. By specialty he is a master of history.

He started his career in 2002 as editor-in-chief of the informational and analytical service of the Republican Corporation Television and Radio of Kazakhstan CJSC.

In 2002-2009, he worked in the International Institute of Contemporary Politics, the Khabar Agency, the NGO "Republican Political Party" Nur Otan", the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2009-2016 he was an expert, consultant, head of the sector of the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since June 2016, he held the post of Deputy Head of the Majilis Apparatus of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be recalled, since July 2016, the Chairman of the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications was Nurgul Mauberlinova, who has been appointed to the position of Vice Minister of Information and Communications in April 2018 by the Government Decision.
