Azamat Akhmetov appointed chairman of Committee for Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance

By order of the Minister of Finance, Azamat Akhmetov is dismissed from the position of the Chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry and appointed to the position of Chairman of the Committee for Internal State Audit.

Azamat Akhmetov was born in 1974 in the Karaganda region. In 1996 he graduated from the Kazakh Order of the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Institute, by specialty he is an economist – agricultural production manager. In 1999 he graduated from the Kunayev Humanitarian University with a degree in law.

He began his labor activity in 1996 as a director of the production enterprise “Perizat i K” in Almaty. In different years he worked in commercial enterprises. He held positions in the State Investigation Committee, the National Security Committee, the Department of Customs Control in Karaganda region, the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Has been working in the Ministry of Finance since 2007.

In 2007-2008 he was deputy head of the Financial Control and Public Procurement Department for Karaganda region under the Financial Control and Public Procurement Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

In 2008 he became the head of the Financial Control and Public Procurement Department for Karaganda Region of the Financial Control and Public Procurement Committee under the Ministry of Finance.

From 2008 to 2014, he was the head of the Inspectorate of Financial Control in Karaganda region under the Financial Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

From 2014 to 2017, he was the head of the State Revenue Department for Karaganda Region of the State Revenue Committee.

In 2017 he was a deputy chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

From 2017 to 2018, he held the post of Chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
