Yerlan Durmagambetov appointed chairman of the board of Zerde Holding

By the decision of the board of directors, Yerlan Durmagambetov was appointed chairman of the board of the joint-stock company National Information and Communication Holding Zerde.

Yerlan Durmagambetov was born in 1971 in Karaganda.

In 1994, he graduated from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University (Russia), in 1999 — the University of Science and Technology of Iowa (the US), in 2018 — Cranfield University (the UK). He is a doctor of Business Administration.

He began his career in 1994. In various years, he worked in the corporate sector, including at the office of Oracle Nederland BV, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Scala Kazakhstan LLP.

In 2006–2007, he held senior positions in the RSE Center for Informatization of Financial Systems of the Ministry of Finance.

In 2007–2010, he was a deputy chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communication.

From 2010 to the present, he has worked as managing director of Kazakhtelecom JSC.
