Marat Sultangaziev appointed Vice Minister of Finance

By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Sultangaziev was appointed Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Marat Sultangaziev was born in 1976 in the Almaty region. He graduated from Abay Almaty State University, Kazakh State Law Academy, Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University. He has degrees in Economics and Finance, Law, a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

He began his career in 1997 as a specialist of the first category of the department of inspections of legal entities of the Tax Department.

From 1998-2001, he worked as a tax inspector, senior tax inspector, leading tax inspector, and acting Chief Specialist - Chief Tax Inspector of the Tax Committee for Almaty.

In 2001-2010, he continued to work in the Tax Committee for Almaty, worked as Deputy Head of the Tax Department in Almaty.

In 2010-2012, he held senior positions in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2012–2014, he was head of the sector of the Department of socio-economic monitoring of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014–2017, he was head of the Department of State Revenues in Almaty city of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From June 2017 to October 2018, he was Deputy Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From October 2018, he worked as chair of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
