Olzhas Smagulov appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

By order of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Smagulov was appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Olzhas Smagulov was born in Almaty. He graduated from the American Intercontinental University, California State Polytechnic University, Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University, London School of Economics and Political Science.

In different years, he has worked as a chief specialist at the Administration of the Akim of the Atyrau region, deputy head of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development Department of the Atyrau region, chief expert of the Socio-Economic Department of the Office of the Prime Minister, deputy head of the Administration of the Akim of the Aktobe region, head of the Department of Economy and Budget Planning of the Aktobe region.

Since July 2018, he has served as Deputy Akim of Aktobe region.
