Serik Akhmet appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

By the order of the prime minister, Serik Akhmet was appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the prime minister of Kazakhstan.

Serik Akhmet was born in 1961 in the Karaganda region. He graduated from Karaganda State University.

He began his career in 1978. In various years, he worked as a teacher of history and social science, secretary of the Karaganda regional committee of the Komsomol of Kazakhstan.

In 1995-1997 , he was deputy akim of the Kirov district of Karaganda.

In 1997-1998, he was head of the Internal Policy Department of the Akim Administration of the Karaganda Region.

In 1998-2004, he was engaged in commercial activities.

In 2004-2006, he worked as an assistant to the chair of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2006, he was head of the Office of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2007-2008, he worked in the Nur Otan Party as deputy director of the Department of Analytical and Youth Policy, secretary of the Central Office.

In 2008-2011, he was an inspector of the Internal Policy Division, head of the Secretariat of the National Commission for Women, Family and Demographic Policy – Head of the Sector of the Internal Policy Division of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.

In 2011-2013, he served as vice minister of labor and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2014 to 2019, he worked as head of the Secretariat of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
