Zhaslan Madiyev replaces Serik Zhumangarin as vice minister of national economy

This was reported by the Press Service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

By the Decree of the Government, Zhaslan Madiyev was appointed vice minister of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Serik Zhumangarin, who previously held this post, was dismissed due to the application.

Madiyev was born in 1983. He graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Columbia University, School of International Relations and Public Administration in New York, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan Business School. He worked in various positions at Alliance Bank JSC, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna SWF JSC, Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund JSC. Over the years, he worked at JSC National Investment Corporation, he was an advisor to the Prime Minister. From 2017, he has been vice president for finance of NC Kazakhstan Kazakstan Temir Zholy JSC.
