By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sholpan Karinova was appointed First Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Sholpan Karinova was born in 1972 in Akmola region.
She graduated from the Kokshetau Pedagogical Institute named after Valikhanov.
She started her career in 1994 as a secondary school teacher..
In 1998-1999, she was a Russian language and literature teacher.
In 1999-2000, she worked as a Kazakh language teacher in Russian classes.
From 2000-2002, she was deputy director for educational work at Leningrad high school in North Kazakhstan region.
In 2003-2004, she was a methodologist; the acting head of division on educational work of Department of Education and Sports of Taiynshin district of North-Kazakhstan region.
In 2004-2005, she was a Principal of Secondary School № 5 of Taiynshin district of North Kazakhstan region.
In 2005-2008, she held senior positions in the Department of Education of Taiynshin district of North Kazakhstan region.
In 2008-2009, she was the head of the structural unit of the Akim's Office of Taiynshin, North Kazakhstan region.
From 2009-2012, she was deputy head of the Department of Education, Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan region.
In 2012-2013, she was Deputy Akim of Petropavlovsk on social sphere.
From 2013-2017, she was Acting Head; Head of the Department of Education of North Kazakhstan region, Petropavlovsk.
In 2017-2018, she was the Director of the Department of Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2019, she was Deputy Director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Center for Pedagogical Excellence, Astana.
In 2019-2021, she worked as Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September 2021 to the present, she has been First Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
