Head of Government Askar Mamin’s working trip to Pavlodar region: Industrial and innovative development of the region and implementation of infrastructure projects

Prime Minister Askar Mamin familiarized himself with the progress of reconstruction of the 5th power unit of the power plant in Aksu, which will increase the station's capacity by 25 MW

Fifth power unit reconstruction is the largest regional project of the current year carried out under the Entrepreneurship Support Map

The project cost is 47.5 billion tenge; commissioning is currently underway. It is planned to commission the 5^th power unit in December 2019

One of the largest and backbone enterprises of the Pavlodar region – Aksu ferroalloy plant – a branch of JSC Kazchrome TNC, where since 2017 a project for the renovation of smelting furnaces has been implemented

This project will increase ferrochrome production by 87% by 2024, compared to 2018. At the same time, energy consumption will be reduced by 20%

Another object implemented as part of the industrialization of the region is Kompaniya Neftekhim LTD LLP

The company produces of methyl tert-butyl ether, granular polypropylene, woven polypropylene bags

The production capacity of the enterprise is 20 thousand tons of MTBE, 30 thousand tons of polypropylene, 50 million pcs. of woven polypropylene bags, 47.8 thousand tons of granulated polypropylene per year

As part of the working trip, Askar Mamin visited the children's eco-techno center in Aksu, where optimal conditions for the development of children's abilities in environmental, biological, tourist and regional studies, decorative and applied, scientific and technical areas were created

In December 2019, a new oncology center equipped with a linear accelerator will be opened in the region. Here the clinic designed for one hundred visits per shift will also begin to receive patients

At the end of his working trip, the prime minister was presented the House of Investors, where any businessman can receive services and consultations on the principle of “one window.” The offices of Kazakh Invest, SEZ Pavlodar managing company, Atameken regional chamber of entrepreneurs, KazAgroFinance JSC, Agrarian Credit Corporation, Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture and Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund are located at one site here.
