Government significantly expanded business support measures this year

Today at a meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov spoke about the implementation of the Single Business Support and Business Development Program "Business Roadmap-2020".

Timur Suleimenov reported that in 2017 49.1 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget for the implementation of the BRM 2020 program, of which 30 billion tenge through general transfers.

According to the results of the last year, the participants of the Unified Program were paid taxes in the amount of 182.8 billion tenge, the total output of goods amounted to 2.6 trillion tenge, 47.5 thousand jobs were saved and created.

He noted that as of July 1 through subsidizing the rate of remuneration, 1 024 entrepreneurs were able to improve the conditions for financing their projects. The sum of reduced credits amounted to 90.1 billion tenge. The total volume of grants received was 17.5 billion tenge. 505 entrepreneurs were able to get guarantees for loans in the amount of 17.1 billion tenge. The total amount of guarantees amounted to 6.8 billion tenge.

The missing infrastructure was provided to 25 projects of small and medium businesses for the amount of 15 billion tenge. For the implementation of new business initiatives, 114 state grants were issued for the amount of 221.4 million tenge.

In monotowns, small towns and rural settlements, entrepreneurs who can increase the payment of taxes, output and the number of jobs by 10% after 2 years from the date of receiving state support are allowed to receive financial support.
