Today at the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the report of the Ministry of Education and Science within the framework of the Program for Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 was considered.

Yerlan Sagadiyev reported that within the framework of the Program the Ministry carries out general coordination and monitoring of the implementation of training of personnel with technical and vocational education taking into account the needs of the labor market. So, from 2017 to 2021, 320.5 thousand people will be involved in this direction within the framework of the Program.

Also in the regions 1844 mobile groups have been established to form lists of applicants for training. A list of 317 educational organizations and 271 priority specialties for the training of workers (service and maintenance, technical, technological, agricultural) for 586 qualifications is determined.

The Minister explained that the category of participants in the Program includes graduates of grades 9-11, persons who did not enter educational institutions, looking for a job, found in difficult life situations and members of low-income families and other categories of citizens. In addition, the participants of the Program will be provided with a scholarship, one-time hot meals and travel. It was also noted that at present 12 771 applications have been submitted from applicants for training.
