Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Foreign Minister of Bolivia Fernando Huanacuni Mamani, who arrived in Astana on a working visit.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in the fields of energy, culture, science and education were discussed. The parties also expressed interest in the creation and implementation of joint investment projects in the petrochemical, agricultural, transport sectors, in the development of clean technologies and in the field of renewable energy.
According to Fernando Huanacuni Mamani, Bolivia is ready to develop partnership not only in the gas sector, but also in the field of rare earth metals and nuclear industry.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev also expressed interest in deepening bilateral cooperation, and in turn thanked Fernando Huanacuni Mamani for supporting Kazakhstan in holding the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
